In honour of Heritage Month, the 11th edition of Mama Money GhanaFEST SA will be held on Saturday, 13 September 2025, at the beloved Fountains Valley in Pretoria. Under this year’s powerful theme, “Bridging the Cultural Gap,” the festival will spotlight the deep ties between Ghana and South Africa, blending tradition, music, art, and cuisine in a joyful celebration of African unity.

Headlining this year’s festival is Ghanaian music icon Kwabena Kwabena, whose soulful hits and philanthropic work have made him a legend across the continent. Known for classics like ‘Aso’‘Ka Kyere Me’, and ‘Kwadede’, the multiple-award-winning artist will be joined by a stellar lineup of South African DJs, traditional dance groups, and the beloved Sankofa International Band.

The Mama Money GhanaFEST SA is a celebration of heritage. Visitors can enjoy authentic Ghanaian and South African cuisine, shop from artisanal vendors, explore cultural textiles and crafts, and engage in fun family activities. There’s truly something for everyone. From the vibrant parades of Ghanaian kings and queens, representing tribes such as the Ashanti, Ewe, Ga, Dagomba, and Nzima, to a marketplace brimming with traditional food, crafts, fashion, and family-friendly activities, the Mama Money GhanaFEST SA promises a culturally immersive experience like no other.

For the third year in a row, Mama Money takes the lead as headline sponsor.
