Innovative, AI-driven, technology brand TECNO’s next generation of AI-enhanced smartphones, including SPARK 40 Series and POVA 7 Series, bring advanced intelligence, improved performance and more intuitive user experiences to consumers.
These new devices integrate AI deeply into everyday functions, giving users smarter tools for productivity, creativity and communication, without compromising on affordability (availability of AI functions may vary depending on phone model).
The SPARK 40 Series, which includes the SPARK 40 Pro, SPARK 40, SPARK 40S, and SPARK 40C models, offers a rich collection of AI-powered features that streamline daily life. TECNO’s Ella AI Assistant enables natural language interaction for tasks like scheduling, translations and content summarisation. The series also includes AI-driven Document-to-Text conversion, allowing users to photograph and instantly edit documents, while Circle-to-Search makes information discovery more intuitive by enabling users to circle anything on-screen and receive real-time search results. Communication is similarly enhanced with real-time call summaries and translation features.
For photography, AI tools such as AI Eraser and portrait enhancement help users refine images effortlessly. SPARK 40 devices further incorporate TECNO’s FreeLink™ offline communication technology, enabling Bluetooth-based calling and messaging with a theoretical range of up to 1 km, supported by Super WiFi 2.0, GPS 2.0, NFC and an IR remote control for added utility.
The POVA 7 Series – including the POVA 7 Pro 5G and POVA 7 5G – is engineered for performance-focused users and gamers, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate AI processor for smooth multitasking and efficient operation. The series introduces the AI Anywhere Portal, a centralised hub that groups all AI tools and routines for quick access. Ella AI on POVA 7 is capable of more advanced tasks, including rewriting content and handling multilingual interactions. The devices also offer advanced AI call assistance, incorporating real-time translation, noise cancellation, auto-answering and automatic call summaries to streamline communication.
Both series showcase TECNO’s forward-thinking approach to design and software. The POVA 7 Series features a distinctive “Interstellar Spaceship” aesthetic enhanced by a mini-LED status light for notifications and gaming alerts. On the software side, HiOS 15 Special introduces extensive system customisation with user-defined icons, fonts and dynamic wallpapers presented in a clean neumorphic interface. The POVA 7 Series also includes a robust 6000mAh battery, 45W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging on the Pro model. An advanced cooling system helps reduce device temperature by up to 3°C, ensuring stable performance during demanding tasks. TECNO’s FreeLink technology is also included, maintaining communication even in no-signal areas with up to 1 km offline reach.
