Lala Tuku, a prominent television and creative industry figure, has been elected as a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Now serving as the Acting Group Executive for Video Entertainment of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), Tuku continues to lead with passion and purpose, steering the national broadcaster toward greater innovation and global engagement. Her membership in the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is a testament to her dedication to amplifying South Africa’s voice in the international television dialogue.

Her efforts highlighted South Africa’s creative excellence and positioned local productions and talent in front of critical global audiences.
