South African eyewear and optometry retail brand, Execuspecs, has officially launched their Baker Private Collection: a limited-edition eyewear series that fuses professional optometry with fashion-forward design. The collection has been designed in collaboration with top South African creators, and is available online and in-store at the brand’s 63 bespoke optometric stores across South Africa and Namibia.
The Baker Private Collection officially launched late last month at the Rooftop on Bree in Cape Town, with the stunning views and sophisticated design of the venue perfectly complementing this new collection.
Since its debut in 2017, Baker Crafted Eyewear has set the standard for aspirational, design-led eyewear at accessible prices. The Baker Private Collection now takes this vision further: celebrating individuality and local creativity.
Contributors of the collection included Namibian twinfluencers Lisette & Liselle So-Oabes; creative entrepreneurs Kim and Olivia Black; visual artist and cultural curator Samurai Farai; fashion blogger Looks by Lilli; photographer Anele Papu; fine jewellery designer Anna Rosholt; and fashion creative Gugu by Gugu.
Senior Buyer, Cayla Stuthard and Art Director, Tamara-Jade Apollos brought the vision of the series to life by translating these creative ideas into tangible designs, from frames to packaging.
Beyond aesthetics, Execuspecs continues to redefine traditional optometry with the belief that seeing clearly should look as good as it feels.
