21 YEARS OF LAUGHTER: BLACKS ONLY COMEDY CELEBRATES MILESTONE ANNIVERSARY AT SUNBET ARENA

One of South Africa’s most iconic comedy brands, Blacks Only Comedy, marks an incredible 21 years of unfiltered laughter, cultural commentary, and top-tier entertainment this October.

The much-anticipated celebration show takes place on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at the prestigious SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria.

Founded and hosted by legendary comedian David Kau, Blacks Only has become a comedy institution that provides a powerful platform for South Africa’s funniest voices. This milestone event features a powerhouse lineup that brings together some of the country’s most celebrated comedians.

The Line-Up Includes:

Mpho Popps, Skhumba, Celeste Ntuli, Chris Forrest, Ntosh Madlingozi, Dillan Oliphant, Mbali Gudazi, Kagiso KG Mokgadi, Mark Banks, Roni Modimola, Robby Collins, Alan Committie and David Kau as MC.

This edition delivers everything that Blacks Only is known for, including bold humour, sharp satire, and fresh takes on everyday life in South Africa, all delivered by a cross-section of the country’s finest stand-up artists.

“We’ve laughed through elections, power cuts and pandemics. Twenty-one years later, we’re still standing and still laughing,” says David Kau, the show’s creator.
