adidas Originals and Bad Bunny Launch Black & White Colorways of New “Ballerina” Silhouette

Following the successful launch of the yellow Ballerina silhouette, adidas Originals and Bad Bunny are excited to introduce two new colorways, Core Black and Off White.

The campaign celebrates the spirit of dance while capturing moments of boldness and joy. These moments reflect the essence of Puerto Rican dance and music, which are central to Bad Bunny’s artistry. Rooted in the island’s energy and rhythm, it mirrors his musical evolution and celebrates the universal language of movement. Through both BAILE INoLVIDABLE and the Ballerina silhouette, Bad Bunny revisits his beginnings, pushing salsa forward as a bridge between tradition and innovation.

Featuring premium suede overlays on the toe and heel, a sleek silhouette, and bungee-cord laces for a secure fit, the design is elevated with unique “Benito” branding near the three stripes and a special sizing tag honoring past adidas collaborations. The Ballerina blends modern style with performance heritage, taking cues from the iconic adidas Taekwondo model designed for elite martial artists in the early 2000s.

The Bad Bunny Ballerina in Core Black and Off White will be available at adidas.co.za and at Sandton Halo store on 12th April 2025, retailing at R2499. Follow the conversation @adidasZA Instagram for more.
