South Africa’s Mbalentle Parkie to Represent the Nation in France at Miss Global Princess International Jnr Teen 2025 and Walk the Runway at Paris Fashion Week

At just 15 years old, Mbalentle Parkie is already making international waves. The newly crowned Miss Global Princess South Africa Jnr Teen 2025 is set to represent South Africa in France this October at the prestigious Miss Global Princess International 2025 pageant. As if that wasn’t enough, she’ll also step onto the world’s most celebrated runway, Paris Fashion Week, showcasing global style with true South African pride.
Mbalentle, a Grade 10 learner at Urban Academy Private School, is more than just a pretty face. She’s a newsroom presenter at her school, a dedicated cheerleader, and a bright academic mind studying Mathematics and Physical Science. Her discipline and vibrant personality have earned her admiration wherever she goes.
The crowning moment took place at the elegant Dynasty Forest Hotel in Sandton, attended by celebrated personalities such as Somizi Mhlongo, who hosted a powerful confidence-building workshop, along with guest speakers Zikhona Ngxata, Gift Kubeka, and esteemed MC Zikhona Sodlaka.
Since the age of seven, Mbalentle has dreamed of moments like this, encouraged by her mother, a former pageant queen, who taught her that with focus and faith, nothing is out of reach. Today, Mbalentle’s mission is to inspire other young people to believe in themselves, love who they are, and chase their biggest dreams.
And her performance swept the judges off their feet, earning her several special awards: Best Interview, Fun Fashion, Spokesmodel, Academic Award, Leadership, Overall Public Choice, Overall Debutant, Best Photoshoot, and Star Achiever.
In addition to her national pageant win, Mbalentle walked for some of South Africa’s top fashion designers such as Somizi Mhlongo for Sompire, Simply Mooi, YS Clothier, Zan Creations, and Exquisite Designs.
As part of her win, she also received a fully sponsored R40,000 trip to Paris, which includes flights and accommodation, giving her the opportunity to represent South Africa on an international stage, both in pageantry and fashion.
In her own words to her manager, Mr. Sonwabile Gingqishe, Mbalentle shared:
“I’ve worked for this my whole life. Representing my country and walking at Paris Fashion Week is a dream come true. I’m grateful to my parents for their support and to everyone who believes in me.”
